Review: Mama Earth Baby Products – Organic, Safe & Effective

Mama Earth Baby Products -Review

I am a picky mom, some of my friends would even call me fussy! Why? Well, because, I never settle for anything but the best for my child (and I can be a bit of a pain in doing so!). My 5-year-old son can be a handful at times (the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree, I’d say!), taking care of his well-being has always been my No#1 priority.

A while back I took it upon myself to find some child-safe, natural and toxin-free products for my child. During my search, I got to know about Mama Earth and I approached them for an opportunity to review their products. My request was accepted and I received Mama Earth’s premium kit, the kit is priced at Rs. 1500 and it includes toxin-free safe products which are my first choice for my child.

I guess Mama Earth understands the struggles, expectations and requirement of moms, that’s probably why they had sent me a Mama Earth kit with baby essentials like:

  1. Mama Earth Daily Moisturizing Lotion For Babies - 200 ml, Certified toxin free, Hypoallergenic, Shea butter, Aloevera, Calendula extract, Almond & Jojoba Oil Product.
  2. Mama Earth Gentle Cleansing Shampoo For Babies - 200 ml, Certified toxin free, tear free, with coconut based cleansers
  3. Mama Earth Natural Insect Repellent For Babies - 100 ml, 100% natural Deet free
  4. Mama Earth Diaper Rash Cream For Babies - 50 ml, Certified non toxin, Shea butter, Calendula extract, Wheat germ, Almond& Olive Oil
  5. Mama Earth Baby Essentials Travel Bag (This is for ME – I simply loveeeeeee the bag)

The great thing about the kit is that all the products complement each other to provide my child a safe healthy and nourished skin.

My son uses his Mama Earth Daily Moisturizing Lotion every day. He is required to bring a grooming kit to his school, as asked by his teacher, and so he takes his lotion with him and he absolutely loves it. Well, I must mention that his mother loves it too knowing that he is using a product that is stringently tested for quality by going through rigorous microbiology tests.

Coming to the Mama Earth Gentle Cleansing Shampoo – It is a chemical-free, organic and safe shampoo and in my opinion, it is a far better choice than the chemically-laden shampoos available in the stores. No more is my child running for the hills at the mere mention of getting his bath, the cleansing shampoo is gentle, it smells wonderful and doesn’t give my child teary eyes, what more can I ask for!

The biggest blessing given to me by Mama Earth is the peace of mind that I get when I send my child to play outside in the evening. With mosquitoes and insects hovering around him, I constantly worry for his wellbeing. The Mama Earth Natural Insect Repellent is made-safe with citronella and lemon Eucalyptus oil and it is a 100% natural and Deet free product that prepares my child to deal with pesky insects and mosquitoes.

I couldn’t really use the diaper rash cream as my child is 5-years-old and is potty trained (thank god for that) but I did use the cream for his tummy rash and it worked wonders! And did I mention the bag, of course I did because I LOVeeeeeeee It!

In this time and age, when everything around is adulterated and chemically-laden, I feel lucky to have found a product that is organic, natural and safe for my child’s sensitive skin. Every Mama Earth product goes through Clinical Dermatology Testing conducted in Europe and the products are scientifically tested to ensure that they are safe for the super-sensitive skin of children. Mama Earth products also go through stability tests in varied environments and after the whole process, what mothers like me get, is a unique and natural range of baby essential project products that we can TRUST!
